Director Joe Russo was at headed up a forty-person crew to help bring his latest film,Take-Out, to life. Written by acclaimed independent filmmaker and Executive Director of the Phoenix Film Festival, Chris LaMont, Take-Out stars Dean Ronalds (The Graves,) Bob Rue (Locker 13, Neatherbeast Incorporated,) and Debra Watt.

Heather O’Neil produced the picture under her Startlet Productions banner. LaMont additionally served as executive producer. Take-Out was shot on the Red One Digital Cinema Camera, a state of the art digital camera capable of matching the look and resolution of 35mm film.

 

Take-Out (2009) - After deciding on take-out for dinner, elderly couple Robert and Doris’ quest for food is interrupted when they find Steve stranded on the side of the road. Offering him a ride, Robert and Doris are rewarded for their generosity when Steve invites them to his home for dinner. However the unsuspecting couple is unaware of Steve’s true intentions, and while steaks are indeed on the menu, so is death!
